When I tried to start my FS9 this morning it stop running. When I click on the FS9 icon the start screen appears and the it just stop. I have tried in safe mode and the reset to default without any luck. Is FS9 generating a log I can look at? or does anyone have any ideas?

I did have some windows reg. problems, but had a back-up of my reg files, that I restored. I guess it could be that Sad but I really would hate to reinstall.

Try reinstalling your DirectX. That should do it.

You might try adding the nocd fs9.exe available here

Replacing the exe may also help...

Thanks, after reinstalling dirextX It started up. My problem now is that all my planes are missing the instrument panel. VC works fine, and I can see outside, but no panel....any ideas?

Thanks,

Does the panel show up in the VC?
