I was working on correcting the number of gates at the default FS2004 Chicago O'Hare, but when i saved the changes, all the ground scenery dissappeared. i'll try to get some pictures of what i mean.
anyway, the images of the parking lots and highway
I-190 (access to downtown chicago) dissappear.
Can anyone expkain what i need to do to fix this???

My guess is you edited ORD in AF2 (although it's not stated here) If this is the case, simply replace your newlysaved with the original.

AFCAD2 Readme file:
12. Deleting and Restoring Airports
To restore a stock airport or remove a new airport, simply remove the .bgl file for that airport from the FS Addon Scenery folder (  .../FS9/Addon Scenery/Scenery/  ).  If it is a new airport then the airport may continue to be displayed on the Flight Simulator Go To Airport window however, so to eliminate that residual airport listing just call up the Scenery Library window from the FS Settings, and click the OK button to close the window.

Ok, maybe a different approach. Is there any way i can get several (a lot) of small .bmp's or jpg's as the ground???
I found a web site with some pretty good pics.

Can they be pieced together (the individaul files) like a mosaic so that you can see the ground??
