Ramas, or anyone else with the PMDG 737NG 600-700, could you possibly help me. I got this plane a few days ago and am pulling my hair out with it.
This is gonna sound really stupid, but for the life of me I cant get this bird in the air. Im starting from the "quickstart" and following the manuals instructions for "starting the engines". They seem to be running, but when I taxi to the threshold and apply full power, I get an annoying warning horn and cant get max thrust.
How (Where) can I see what this horn means??? Whats it telling me. All "looks" good, but obviously somethings wrong.
If I start from "create a flight in FS9, the plane appears on the tarmac with engines already running. I apply throttles and get the same warning horn.
If I do a cold dead start and press "control "e" the engines start, but I still get the darn horn when throttles are opened. Whats with this horn????????Its killing me. I just wanna fly!!!!!!

The horn is a take-off config warning. You can't advance the throttles too much without the flaps in take-off position (1,5 etc...)
Same horn will sound if speedbrake lever is not in down position, speedbrakes are up, stab trim not in take-off range, parking brake is set.
Hope it helps.

it is not intended for that, while you can still do it, a fair share of manual reading is often required to fully enjoy the aircraft to the max.
But just extend the flaps one notch and you will probably get rid of the warnign horn ???
