Does anyone know of a fix for Dave Garwoods hunters to allow the models to display in 2k2? The aircraft apears in the selection menue and can be flown from the 2d panel however the model is invisible. I've been ofline a while and might have missed this, though I havn't been able to find anything online

Hi,
I have the same problem.
I have all the textures of the range in 2004, but as you say, panel only shows in 2002. I have touted around, but have drawn a blank as of yet!!! Will keep looking though.
Gorgeous aircraft in 2004, flies a treat. I did put other Hunter sounds in, though.

Hi Craig. Welcome back. No, you're not the only one.

Gmax aircraft exported with the FS2004 Makemdl are not compatible with FS2002. I doubt the designers will release a "patch". The only ones I know to downgrade their latest design for FS2002 are Milton & his Hughes 500 team. He said it involved many hours work.

You might like to try converting the FS9 model with MDLC from the Utilities section. Don't say I told you as I'm not sure how the designers would feel about it. They can't object if it's purely for your own use. Roll Eyes

Had the problem, too. MDLC helps, but it΄s not easy to be used for the first time.

Soory guys, the good word over on the Classic British Flight Sim forum is that this is an FS9 bird only.  Dave Garwood is unlikely to work on a FS2002 patch as he has other projects to work on, notably a series of Hunter trainers.

Worth looking here http://www.cbfsim.co.uk/%7Ecbfsim/index.php for updates, and oodles of other classic British treats.
