The reason why I would love a V12 BMW.....

Check this for engine smoothness!  8)
2 Euro coin standing
upright on running  5.0 V12 engine, then, they stop & re start the engine with the coin in place!
(8.2 MB, 51 sec)
http://toronto.apm.etc.tu-bs.de/e31/mpegs/EuroOnEngine.mpg

Impressive, very impressive!

Thats exactly what I was thinking.

But you know, for me-I like to feel my car shake some when I start it.  Reminds me that it has some power.

Could'nt agree more SaVas, excellent cars that the new 7,6 & 5 series undoubtedly are, I can't say I agree with the looks.

Looks apart, I'd love one of the new "e60" M5's - 507BHP from a V10 motor! Bad looks or not, I'd love one of those.....

I hear Mr Bangle is soon to depart BMW, lets hope so eh?

That is impressive! Not even my Honda Insight can do something like that (even though you can't feel a single vibration or hear a sound during the startup of the tiny engine). But I bet my mileage is 6X better than his Grin

Ditto. Well, not with my car, just the cars at the office. We all drive them kinda' rough. Hard accelerations just about every chance we get.
