Ever sence i have flown in the sims i have wanted Fort Wayne International Airport to be a bit more reallistic. the defult is pathetic and i dont think they even have a couple taxiways right. I have spent hours trying to find a sattellite or aerial photo of the airport to give a better idea of the terminal and builing placements. but have had no luck. I would try my self but have no experience in making and designing sceneries.
so my wish list.
1...Someone who has free time on their hands and feels like designing an airport.
2...A relitivly frame rate friendly airport but with some details such as the jetways... which there is only 4 and are used for regional jets.
3...Made for FS2002
4... close to acurate placement of the airport runnways and taxiways. I have found a website with all the lats and lons
http://www.airnav.com/airport/FWA5...Still on a computer that can not handle high graphics so needs to be as frame rate friendly as possible.
as for anything else that might be found. i am still on the lookout for airport photos and if i find any i will post the links. Im heading to Anet to see if there are any aerial photos.
If you feel like taking on this project then feel free to do so.... I hope to see something sometime i just wish i had the knowhow to do some of the work
I found an aerial photo at anet that shows the terminal... 4 jetways 5 through 8 starting from the right. it is a very small terminal with only 8 total gates 4 are just doors to the outside that they consider gates. but that is the only photo i can seem to find.
http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=609600as for the terminal it is towards the middle and to the right side
