No it isn't free but if you fly VFR in the USA it's worth every penny. The road data is super accurate. Every road, street and alley in the US is there including some that aren't widely recognized as public roads. Take a detailed road atlas and you can find every highway with on/off ramps in the USA and fly by reference to the roads to any place.
