What does this mean:
"The model has an explicit OBED scaling matrix applied to it."

Then the model won't compile.   Sad

I wouldn't mind but it's the lowest poly model I've ever done.

GMAX 1.1 BTW.

Thanks

Do all parts of your model have 100% scale?
Check it.If not do "reset scale" for each part.

They should have but I will try that first.  If I still get the same problem then I'll just start again.  The model is built, I just need to import the parts into GMAX, texturing as I go.

At some point I must have pressed a button by mistake as all the objects became  sort of reversed in the 3D view.  Not flipped, but FS5 quality bleed-through!  Looked most odd and made it impossible to work.

I fixed that by starting a new project and Merging the whole lot back in.  This didn't fix the Scaling thingy though.  Undecided

I was able to do a quick export of the unfinished model by restarting the computer first.

It looks great in FS so I really hope this doesn't end up as an abandoned project.  Only 4000 polys ATM, for me that's phenomenal, they're normally around the 50000 mark!

I also have some widely known errors(like scaling and collocated vertices and so on when compiling)and I solve all of them by just one click. How?
I checked "Ignore warnings" in makemdl options tab!
And model was compiled successfully and works in sim!
Anybody can explain this?

Personally, I think GMAX is a flaky pile of poo, if you'll forgive the mixed metaphore...

But I fixed it in the end.

I don't know what caused the original problems but I started again, re-imported the parts, re-textured, re-animated (only took from 8am 'til midnight) and I finally have a model that works.

FS9 testing is underway ATM.  I suspect that there will be problems getting a supersonic jet working in both sims.

Still, works perfectly in FS2002.   Cheesy
