The first question, I haven't a clue. It's never asked me that. It just runs out and I drop like a brick.  Grin It sounds like something in your realism settings.

As for the second question. The way I do it is to save a flight called "Current". Whenever I stop and shut down I save as that overwriting the previous "Current".

There's an option in the realism settings that shuts off the tips of FS (forgive the vagueness, I'm in vacation and using the hotel internet access, so I have no way to accede to FS on my PC back home).

Said option turns off the tips about parking brakes and engines off, and it turns off the warning about the 'fuel low press ctrl-x to refuel' thingy as well.

At least it did to me. Wink
