HI!
I have two problems!

1.) I have an airport with one RW (13/31) and I closed one runway for landing (RW13) but traffic is still landing there.

2.) I have PFS Vienna scenery for FS2004 which also came with an afcad file. I notice that aircraft only park in certain areas. This has nothing to do with the order of parking in the list, i.e. randomising the list of parking spots doesn't help.

I did notice other changes made in the file for LOWW which I made (tower position), but randomising the parking didn't help!

Thanx! & take care

AFCAD only effects the visual part of an airport to my knowledge you can not close a runway with afcad, as FS will still continue to land AI aircraft on it . I am not sure if there is any way to actually close a runway but if there is I am sure someone here will let us know how.
I have noticed where people have come up with a fix to solve ai ILS problems using AFCAD and I believe XML to make a bgl file that allows fs to use a ILS runway below a certain visability level. when before the change it would not. You might be able to use the same method to close a runway but I am not sure. 8)

My understanding regarding closing a runway using AF2 is it works best for parallel runways. When there's only one runway (13/31) this option may not work. Here's what Lee Swordy says in his AF2 readme file:

"Closed for Takeoff You can specify one end or both ends of a runway to be closed for takeoffs to prevent AI and ATC from using it. This does not prevent aircraft from landing on the runway.  Note that runway closures are not absolute in FS.  ATC may override a closure. See Runway Closures for details.

Closed for Landing You can specify one end or both ends of a runway as closed for landings to prevent AI and ATC from using it. This does not prevent aircraft from taking off from the runway.  Note that runway closures are not absolute in FS.  ATC may override a closure. See Runway Closures for details. "
