FS9 starts then crashes!!!(new mother board? (Read 110 times)

Can anyone help please. A freind has just recently fitted a new mother board Gigabyte 2004GT witha P4 2.8 and 1024mb of266khtz of ram with an existing ati9600pro (this worked fine before ) and a new 200GB HD 7200rpm
FS9 was ghosted from my originalC drive on to the new D drive and I have completly deleted every thing and re-installed withe original discs  but after starting FS9 and the initial  picture pops up before the create a flight diaologue comes up it crashes with no warning or error reporting !!!! all other programs work OK  Cry Cry Cry

I wouldn't think the motherboard was causing this unless it was defective.
FS9 might've left some old registry entries after ghosting. If I were you and didn't have any hardware problems, I'd format the hard drive and then instead of ghosting I'd install fs9 from the cd and see if it works.
