In 1935 The India Bill was passed allowing India to govern itself. Interesting little factlet for you all
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

It was actually Britain, not just England. India was part of the great British Empire. When I was at school all the pink bits on this map were ruled by Great Britain. Things have changed a lot since then.

Getting angry wouldn't do much good.
Once upon a time most of the US was pink too. That was some years before I was born despite any rumours to the contrary.

Ofcourse, with all the attention given to the Royals in the US, I wouldn't be surprised to find that deep down, the US harbours more monarchist feelings than the UK.
I wonder if 60th Regiment of Foot still exists
