After searching the entire web, I came across this site. I've got to thank all the members for the wealth of information here. Been simming now for three years, currently on FS2K2, and never added an aircraft before. The time to do that had just come recently when my kids decided to give me the gift of my dreams. On September 25th I'll be flying a one hour front seat aerobatics flight in a WWII North American T6G Texan complete with 3 camera video recording of my experience. (A big difference from the only other real plane I ever flew, a Cessna 172 Skyhawk.) So, you guessed it, I needed that plane in my aircraft library for a couple months of practice. Without even posting a question I found everything I needed.....found the plane download, installation instructions, cfg. editing, and aliasing (thanks to Grumpy) and alot of very helpful information from the more experienced members' posts in the forums, and after a little file juggling I was in the air at Meigs. So, again, a big thanks to all involved with this fine site! Can't hardly wait for the 4g experience!

I did the T-6/SNJ flight a couple of years back. The flight was made enjoyable by the "stick" time in FS, so I could consciously enjoy what I was doing - Finally got to do a split S and some basic aerobatics (doing an 8-point roll isn't as easy as they make it look!)
Enjoy yourself!

Nice to have you on-board MC, and I hope you'll post lots of lovely shots of your T6 ride. I'm v.jealous, as its one of the few planes on my list that I dream of getting stick time on. Enjoy, and have fun here. Oh and expect your missus to give you a hard time about all the time you spend here and on FS
Ozzy
Ps. Hagar is everyones friend, between him and Fozzer you could really make a film called "Hilarious Old Men" (grumpy just isn't right!)

Me again guys, As you can see to the left, I now have a nice little blank box with a red X in it where a pic is suppossed to be. I have read and tried everything, but still can't figure it out. I opened an MSN website to store my images at and I just can't get it right. Any help appreciated.

The link to the image is already correct. All you need is to upload it it to the SimV server & it should work.

Oops. The path is not quite correct. This is how it is in your profile.
http://.simviation.com/yabbuploads/firstflight.jpg
Note the period after the //
This is how it should be
http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/firstflight.jpg
The path is case-sensitive so make sure you use the exact file name including the .jpg or .JPG file extension.
PS. Don't worry, I can't access your profile. I checked the image properties by right-clicking on it.
