I know that Fly2e, Ozzy72, or one of the other moderators of this forum are going to move this post to the Aircraft Wanted section. Before they do I would like to add my requests.
Of course I would like to mention that I like aircraft with all of the FS 2004 "Eye Candy" such as virtual cockpits and opening doors. Freeware downloads are always preferred also.
My list includes new versions of some of my old favorites:
Grumman HU-16 Albatross
Boeing 377 Stratocruiser
Grumman F7 Tigercat
Mitsubishi G4M Betty
I second Spaceguy5's motion for an updated B-29 Superfortress. It's been far too long!
And about Spaceguy5's suggestion on Aircraft Carriers -- I would like to suggest to people who make carrier sceneries to include instructions and *.bgl compilation files so that the average Joe like me can place carriers in locations WE want them to be! I mean, who wants to fly all the way to Thailand or the Arabian Sea just to land on a carrier?

TThey should also include flights were you are about to land on one, or about to take off from one!!! Sometimes you can't even find them!!!
Also, for people who don't know what some of the aircraft are, here is a site that tells you about almost every aircraft used durring the WWII era:

True Jeff, however, I do prefer the virtual cockpits and opening doors. When California Classics came out with that Stratocruiser for FS 2002 I thought "Yea! A Stratocruiser!" I downloaded and installed it. I really thought that it was a really good aircraft. The vintage United Airlines Paint, the exterior detail, the virtual cockpit, all were excellently done. But no opening doors.
Now I know what a lot of you are saying. "Dave. Don't be such a jerk. Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson (et al) really worked hard to make that aircraft. For the price that you paid to download that aircraft (free) you simply can't have everything". Sigh. I know. But I'm picky!
Besides I recently purchased Lago's Flight Simulator Enhancer and am having a blast with animated air stair trucks, baggage carts, and fuel trucks pulling up to my aircraft (I just have to be very careful to taxi and park my plane in the exact same place everytime)! And what happens when the doors don't open? Waaaaaah!!
Now I know what a lot of you are saying. "Geesh, Dave. You're being such a big baby." I know. I'm sorry. Sniff.
