I'm surprised that Pete didn't point out that the freeware version of AD2000 is posted right here. http://www.simviation.com/fsdesign_aircraft1.htm
I haven't tried it & understand the principles are entirely different to both Gmax & FSDS.

I *believe* that this freeware version does not support FS98

I'm not sure that AF99 is still available

It isn't anymore - any copies you see are either in the bargain or used software bins.

My designs are done on FSDS2, but yeah, it's not freeware. pity Abacus havnt made a free version, cos that would be cool. i personally dont see how to use Gmax, but that's probably because i've used FSDS. yeah, pity its not free though...

I love gMax but I gotta disagree with Discreet on the following statement from their website:

Easy to learn – fast - fits into any production pipeline Roll Eyes

Pilot for a major US airline certified in the: EMB-120, CRJ, 727, 737, 757, 767, and A-320 and military, T-38, C-130, C-141, and C-5 along with misc. other small airplanes. Any questions, I'm here for you.
