Congo is the man you want to speak to about this, he just brought an FX5900xt.

Thing is they are going to be outdated very very soon.  Can you not save up a little more for one of the new gen cards? either and X800pro or a FX6800gt?

If you could this would be a far better idea.

I bought the FX5900 XT because Graphic Cards are very expensive for me in Australia.

It performs (in ATI terms)  between a 9600XT and a 9800XT.

I saw some of the new NV6800's, (in particular a Gainward Golden Sample 6800) for just over $300 U.S. dollars at pricewatch.com

The nv6800 is the one to get if you can stretch the budget, and worth saving for.

here is a link for researching the 5900XT:

Well I am really keeping my fingers crossed now.  The company I ordered my 6800Ultra from is expecting some more cards on the 3rd Sept  Grin  Now I am just hoping I am near enough to the front of the queue to get one.  If not looks like it will be another months waiting for me  Sad

Still on the upside my new RC Hand Launch Glider has turned up so thats given me somthin to do other than playin FS2004  Wink
