Hi, Im new and downloaded a sound package. They were called aafwav and gpws98. When i downloaded it on the site it said sound files whould work on every game not just one. This one says it works on sim 98. I followed the instructions because it said move files to sim directory/adv/wav.
Which i did. However i cannot hear the new sounds. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? Or can you give me a sound package for fs2004? All i want is a pull up alert engine failure and some others like better stall and overspeed sounds.
Thanks for your help.

I'm just going offline now. If you tell me exactly where to download these files I'll check them out when I have time. I need the file description & the page number.

The sound.cfg shoud be made for FS 2004
the aircraft sound should be place here Program files/microsoft games/flight simulator9/ aircraft/"the name of the aircraft you wanna add the sound ex "cessna/sound,
rememeber if its done for fs98 the sound .cfg  file doen't work in FS9,it has to be configured
and perhaps there another files to be placed in the main
folder of FS9,its a folder place here Program files/microsoft games/flight simulator9/ Sound
the designner of the add on should be specific where to placed each file and remember if its done for fs98 the sound .cfg  file doen't work in FS9

Yeah i think its for flight sim 98 only. It said download to adv/wav abd it will overite other files. However there were no files in the wav directory so they must not work with fs9.exe. Now ill have to find and delete all the files i added. Do any of you know how i can make them work on fs2004? The files are the first and second ones on the sound utility page. It says they both need each other to run. If you could can you tell me where to find sound alert fot fs2004 like pull up and bank angle alerts? Or even how to do it my self.
