This might have been posted before:

This is an actual radio conversation of a US Naval Ship with Canadian Authorities off the coast of Newfoundland on October 1995.

CANADIANS
"Please divert your course 15 degrees to the South to avoid a collision"

AMERICANS
"Recommend You divert your course 15 degrees to the North to avoid a collision"

CANADIANS
"Negative! You will have to divert your course 15 degrees to the South to avoid a collision"

AMERICANS
"This is the Captain of a US Navy Ship. I say again, divert your course!"

CANADIANS
"No, I say again, You divert your course."

AMERICANS
"This is the Aircraft Carrier US Lincoln, the second largest ship in The United States Atlantic Fleet. We are accompanied with three Destroyers, three Cruisers, and numerous support vessels. I DEMAND that you change your course 15 degrees North! I say again, that's one-five degrees North, or counter-measures will be taken to ensure the safety of this ship!"

CANADIANS
"Sir, this is a lighthouse,....Your call."

Lol, I don't think it's true though. Each time I've heard this story it's set in a different location.

I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday. Lat time I heard it, it was Brit's V's the french

Any moment, everything can change, Feel the wind on your shoulder, For a minute, all the world can wait, Let go of your yesterday. Can you hear it calling? Can you feel it in your soul? Can you trust this longing? And take control, Fly! Open up the part of you that wants to hide away! You can shine, Forget about the reasons why you can't in life, And start to try, cause it's your time, Time to fly. - H.D., Fly

That would be the American version? I've only ever heard it being Americans and Canadians.
