hey, im puting the finishing touches on a FSDSv2...i dont want dynamic shine on the fuselage and suff, but i really want the canopy to be clear and look like actual glass, not like tinted plastic... i wanna achieve something like the default CFS2 Canopy glare or something...... please any help is apreciated. ive tried everything. the material becomes fuly transparent (disapears) when it is overlaped over any other part of the model, for example, in spot view, say i roate the view so the wing apears in the background, and the canopy in the foreground, the material that ovelaps with the wing disapears..... im desperate to find the correct material setting for this please help Sad

Two ways to correct this to my knowledge...

1. Parts Merge list...don't ask, I've not wuite got the hang of this yet. At least not to the level of explaining to someone more confused than me. Smiley

2. Go into FSDS. Save the transparent part(s) that are having trouble as .fsp's. Delete the parts from the model and then re-add them in as new. This basically does the same as the parts merge...it forces the clear parts to be last in the list.

FS pays attention to where parts are based on when it drew them...draw them last at it does a better job with interactions.

Space Ace,I had to make the fuselage the parent to almost all my other parts(that made me have to redo alot of animations) it cured my problem with that. But I sure hope someone else has a lot better answer.I will continue to work on this .
