I have an ATI Radeon 9800Pro GC which allows very good water effects with the slider right over ,however the effects seem to fade in an out sometimes. Solution ?

Also, why can I not get wakes from seaplanes in FS 2004? I can in FS2002 and the aircraft have the wakes effect enabled in the aircraft files.

Any ideas?

Have you tried turning on water to get align with the lake. it turn like an 18 weel. I have seen many of those plane and they can turn on a dime while on water... Strange..

I have the wake on mine and i am almost to default setting. an other strange thing...

Helen there is a default wake effect, its not brilliant (there are some nice alternatives), but you need your effects setting high to see it.
