i just got FSnav set up and i can make flight plans from FSnav ok. But i'm having problems getting an IFR clearance because fs2002 gives me a "GPS engine" error everytime i try to start a flight. is there a way to get the IFR to work as well as the flight plan from FSnav?

I seem to rember that once you made the plan with fsnav you had to load it with the flight planner inside FS2002. Once you do this you should have no problem getting a clearance.
Mind you it has been a long time since I have used this program but it worked for me when I had FS 2002. 8)

the flight planner won't let me load the fsnav plans...i think its cuz they have different file extensions. fs2002 plans are .pln and fsnav plans are .fsn

thanx anyways tho  Smiley

seems like most of the time ATC vectors me a couple of waypoints prior to the stated info on the approach plate.  At least I get to fly some of the STAR.
