just bought a force feedback joystick for 9.00 plus shipping on ebay.  will get it within a week.

you poor man.

i really do not like the force feedback joysticks for reasons i have said elsewhere on these forums.

basically, I do not beleive teh forces to be accurate - it models big dramatic forces (like rumble) but not the subtle forces that you realy use to fly.

also, you'll be flying along and you'll get a sudden 'digital' change of pressure on the stick. and sometimes it will stat fighting you.

I would actually prefer the straight sprung version without the random confusing forces

I got a standard sprung version because I had heard scary stories of gears stripping. For 9 quid he can't have gone far wrong!
