My Dad bought a Compaq Presario laptop. It suposedly has an Athlon  XP 3000+ in it.  I ran CPU-Z to get some more information on it. It told my that the CPU was indeed an Athlon XP 3000+ but under core type it listed it as having the Sledgehammer core. It also came up with the Athlon64 symbol where CPU-Z displays the little picture indicating your CPU brand. Do you guys think this is a glitch or did my Dad get little extra than what he paid for?

I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday.
