I know that you can't cut-and-paste VCs from plane to plane as the VC is part of the .mdl file.

However, if you have the source GMAX files, could you copy a VC from one model into another plane of a similar type BEFORE you compiled it into a .mdl file?

Hi
Yep If you have the source files you can,Also As the VC and the external model are rendered separately in the sim they don't have to match.For example ya could make the Tardis (what ya never watched Dr Who) http://my.ohio.voyager.net/~abartmes/console.htm ;
the external model a phone box the VC a huge console room:)

Are you implying that Ozzy could fly his tiny 1/4 scale Spitfire replica upside down through the Paris sewers while in the comfort of a 747s "office"?

Oh yes, and I was a Dr Who fan right from the early William Hartnell Black-and-white days.

Whoops, showing my age there...
