Copied and pasted from a post at Netwings, hope RCAF_Gunner doesn't mind.
The original post is here:

The Desert Rats are an international group of dedicated Combat Flight Simulator 3 enthusiasts who are developing a stand alone game called "CFS3 Mediterranean Air War". The game will be released under a Freeware License Agreement. There will be nothing to purchase except possibly covering the cost of postage for distribution CDs (to be determined). Here's a copy of the basic theatre map:

Our web site is located at:

http://members.shaw.ca/desertrats/

The project will be several months in the making and it's far too soon to give anyone an ETA. Many other aspects of the game such as aircraft lists, etc, are yet to be determined so no need to ask about those yet. More information will be released as appropriate.

Cheers,
Rick (RCAF_Gunner) Rutherford

grrrr, what they need to do is make three games that are the most realistic fighter games ever.
The games are:

WW2 Air War(1938-1940)
WW2 Air War(1941-1943)
WW2 Air War(1944-1946)

So u don't have a early p47, getting blown up by some greatly better airplane.  Making it even.

XENO, don't quite understand your post.
Each aircraft has a entered service/left service entry which takes control of that.
I agree M$ didn't do a good job in defining service entries but we'll take care of the problem Smiley
