Well, I have come to face the fact that I may never own a whole collection of WWII fighters, so I am going about building my own miniature air musem in my living room.
At first, the wifey was a bit unwilling, but as it has progressed, she actually has exressed admiration for it. The planes are the Ultimate Soldier 1:18 scale, and average about a 2 foot wingspan (I think that's about 32 cm) and are extremely detailed. I can see now, I'm going to have to do a second part to this to show them off. The bike is a 1:6 scale Harley V-Rod, and the cars are, respectively, a 1:12 scale 1965 Mustang and a 1:12 1958 Corvette. It's starting to shape up nicely, so I hope you don't mind me showing it off. The area above the pictures, (behing the Thunderbolt) is reserved for when I find a wooden prop, and I want to find some small authentic pieces to fill in the holes...
Here's the whole thing...
The little stuff I have picked up here and there...
My dream cars...
My dream bike...

Nice little corner you have there!!! Allot of horsepower sitting there!! better tie down your printer!
I'm in the process of making displays for all of my diecast DC3/C47 banks (1:24 I think) have a bunch with no place to put them. Making shelves that look like runways with lights included!
