I don't have a whole lot, but I have a few really nice ones.  I think I have like 10 add-on planes right now (but I delete planes if I don't LOVE them-I'm pretty picky).  My favorites include:

Milton Shupe, Scott Thomas, & Joáo Paz's Howard 500: http://www.simviation.com/fs2004props25.htm

Saverio Maurri's Gloster Meteor: http://www.simviation.com/fs2004military20.htm

If you want to know more about those two, I have written reviews for both of them.  They can be found here: http://www.simviation.com/fsreviews_meteor0604.htm and here: http://www.simviation.com/fsreviews_fs9howard.htm respectively.

A couple other planes that I love are...

FSD's T-38: http://www.simviation.com/fs2004military17.htm

Daisuke Yamamoto's F/A-18E Super Hornet collection: http://www.simviation.com/fs2004military19.htm

Kirk Olsson's F-16 Viper: http://www.simviation.com/fs2004military2.htm

Those are a handful of the planes I currently have in my hanger.  These are also some of the nicest planes avilable right now and I fly all of them quite regularily.   Grin Wink Smiley Cheesy

This reminds that I need to have a clearout. I check out a lot of aircraft in all my M$ sims to troubleshoot them for other people. Once I confirm that they work I rarely have any further use for them. I don't see much point in having a lot of aircraft installed that you're never likely to use.

My own preference is for vintage light aircraft. I've been hunting round for suitable types to fly & add to my AI traffic as I did in FS2002. Unfortunately I lost many months of hard work when my HD crashed (ignored my own advice to back up regularly) so this means starting again from scratch. Roll Eyes

They both will work perfectly, until you open windows.

I am in the same boat... I have all my payware, plus a few selected freewares that are too cool to remove.  I used to have gigs upon gigs, but found it better to have fewer planes in the hanger.  Performance picked up a bit.  I did not delete them from the hard drive, I just placed them on my secondary drive so that if I want to I can just move them back. I used to have around 50 or 60, but the list got a little cluttered so I deleted all the add ons except for a few military planes.
