Wow, that's a big plane! I can't wait to see it fly.
Does anyone know when the prototype is supposed to make its first test flight (judging by the pics, its still a little while off).

I'd hate to be in the same terminal as all of the passengers from a couple of them unloading. I'll never fly on one
.
AMD Athlon 64 3700+&&GeForce FX5200 256Mb&&1GB DDR400 DC&&Seagate 500Gb SATA-300 HDD&&Windows XP Professional X64 Edition

I can remember almost exactly the same comments when Boeing first announced their new aircraft almost 40 years ago. "It will never catch on." "No runway is big enough to handle something that size." "Even if it does manage to get off the ground nobody in their right mind would want to fly in it."
They gave it the number 747. The rest is history.

There is a "rumour" going on that the A380 is some 5%overweight. I don't have any legit sources on this, just some hearsay on the web I'd take that with a grain of salt Also is said to be very noise aswell.
time will tell, but I think the airbus engineers got it right the first time
