Hi all
I use 2.4G processor,256M RAM Gforce 256,and the FS2004 runs good(up to 40
FPS in heavy scenery)
but when connected with multiplayer sessions, the frame rate drops to 13-20
this makes very difficult to fly online.
HOWEVER when I turn the sound off the framerates go to normal..
have any of you have an idea what to do,shall I fly with sound off ?  ???

Thanks in advance..

Sounds like a driver issue or conflict, I would try downloading the latest drivers for both your sound card and graphics card, if you already have the latest drivers then just try re-installing them!

Unlikely in the extreme, he's getting good performance until he tries to go on-line.

If your on dial-up that's probably the issue (lag like steve-0 states...) if your on broadband, then this should'nt be an issue.

I've recently upgraded to broadband, all my on-line stutters are now a thing of the past.  Smiley

Also, try to disable hardware acceleration on your sound card, I've found this to be the only way I could get Colin McRae 4 to run well on my older soundcard - FS has never had an issue with sound for me though....  ???
