A VC is intergrated into the original model.

You can`t add one to an aircraft that doesn`t already have one.

Home airports are KMGJ and KSWF in Orange County, NY&&Stop by and say hello. Smiley

Well i use to think no would be the answer as well till i came accross this download where someone added the c182 VC to the c182rg.now how he did it i dont know. but you can find the download at fsfreeware.com and maybe he has an e/mail  in the readme file and you can ask him how he pulled it off.

He may have added a 2D panel, but adding a DVC is literally impossible.

I don't doubt that's what he SAID he did, but I'm speaking with seven years of flying sims and altering things within...it's impossible.

In a related story, did you know that all of the American Airlines planes available for download are actually one texture used over and over and over?  Apparently there's no way to duplicate something and make a new one that looks the same, so the designers just import the same file repeatedly. I'm with Hyp on this.
With several years of FS editing under my belt,
I can safely say that what your saying about the RG is impossible.

I'd try that 182 and see what the author really did do...
but I'll be darned if I can find it.

Ok found the file,
and it would appear to be the default RG with the VC from the 182S.
But there are two figures in the cockpit, instead of one.
This leads me to believe the author has access to the source files for the aircraft.
Which would make it possible to add the VC and other parts.

Here's The Link

I didn't download the file, but it looks like they somehow alised the DVC from the other stock Cessna in the game-kind of like how you alise the sounds from a plane.

But, I could be wrong.
