Sometime ago, Ick Slack of Coyote Avionics design developed some popular re-packaged gps gauges originally in FS2002.  Now, under FS9 someone has already re-worked the default gps 500 into a very realistic Garmin 530 and 430 navigator look-alikes. They can do everything but actually in-put a whole flightplan.  My question is this.  Why have no designers undertaken to design a functional kln90 gps gauge?  Now, I know some of you might say that Ick Slack has already produced several versions, tey are on this site.  But, they are merely data readouts and the direct to key merely opens a regular gps gauge, either default or one of the replacements available.  What I am desiring is a kln90 that is completely a re-worked gps gauge replacement and a stand alone not requiring another gps gauge.  How hard would it be to re-package the standard gps gauge in a kln90 bitmap.  After-all, it is a more prolific gps than the garmin units.  How about it? had anyone considered that?
