Grin yay. I bought my domain

www.drumlineramos.com

It serves the following:
  >New Virtual Airline
  >my Flight Sim pictures
  >my band, Darker than Black
  >my Warhammer 40k clan, Blood Templars
  >hosting to my friends pages
  >etc...

I hope to find an unused airline, and begin my VA.  Thanks for coming (if u did)

Good luck!

Three points though.

First off, I'd have chosen a name that is airline specific if you're going to host a VA on there.  It's easier to remember, which is what you want for your pilots.

Two, don't launch your airline til everything is ready to go.  Much, much easier that way.

Three.  Don't  use a real world airline.   Make one up and avoid the potential legal issues.  It'll save you loads of time and be twice as rewarding afterward.

just something to add...if you want a virtual airline on that domain jsut get a URL redirect like cjb or .tk adress that way like scott said its more specific to the va

also if you are going to create one for a real world airline check there is not one already out there and also email the airline asking for their permisson....otherwise you will get a nasty email from them asking you to close down the airline

and last but not least

AMEN to that

It's not a matter of negativity.  It's a matter of years of experience between Daz and I.  We've seen more airlines disappear because the CEO didn't know how to run it.  Both of us try to offer help whenever we can.  Whether or not it's heeded is up to the individual. Wink

all notes taken.

Yes, The VA probably should be on geocities or .cjb or something, but I'm paying 10$ a month for this and I figures ave all my ideas and groups in one area.  Like My band and The Blood Templars (Warhammer 40K) are on my site, even when they could have their own.  Thanks for the tips though. all appreciated!

Right but you could put the VA site anywhere on your server, and then point a free .tk redirect to it (www.dot.tk)
