Wow! that makes the CFM look tiny! Not as big a difference as the time I saw a 777-200 parked next to a 737-200 though!

the comparison with the 747 gives a better impression of the size. the A380 engine is big, no doubt about that, but the A340 engines are really small so this makes the A380 one even look bigger!

It's not A380 it is A340

I'm very aware that it's an A340, but I asked if this A340 acted as a test bed for the A380 engines.
Which is now confirmed btw, my buddies told me.
