Love this aircraft.  However I have just one problem and that is when reducing the throttle the speed takes forever to decrease, and it taxis like a race horse.

Is there a way to make the speed and the engines respond quicker, lower the taxi speed?

Hello Steve,
yes you want to edit .air file table 1505. See the explanation at:

Air File Board, post March 2003
http://www.avhistory.org/scripts/MegaBBS/logon.asp

See page 3:

TBL 1505 will do this..

here is an example or some spool profiles :
[lost graphic as he moved server but repost the question and he will give a more recent answer as things have progressed since then]

The ones in the upper left are used most.. the two in the center are curves that I just `dreamed up one day' to check out the function.. and the J33 curve (don't recall source)
[ I do it was me!]
is a really slow spool. WARNING.. do not exceed the max number of points.. see Blown Engines post from a couple months ago!!

Oh.. not sure if X-axis is actually `time' but you get the idea..

Hello Steve,
I'm Ian not George.
You need to update AirEd.ini quarterly from Herve's site.
latest says (its not really correct)
1505=*!Turbine Corrected Fuel Flow vs CN2,tbldb
1505h=Corrected Fuel Flow (x) vs CN2% (y)|FF(pph) = Thrust_Reference * F1505(CN2) * Delta_t/sqrt(Theta_t)|Shape affects spool rate|Not in TurboProps (KingAir)

get your updates here
Air File Editors
http://perso.wanadoo.fr/hsors/FS_Soft/fsairfile.html

see you soon at AvHistory.
