Is there a way to do this so that I only hear the ATIS instead of having to see the unreal scroll?

Also, while I'm at it...I downloaded Jeppessen weather via the FS this morning and taking off out of KBUF it was snowing and 15*. I KNOW it wasn't that cold in Buffalo today. I also made sure the season was set to summer. This happens quite a bit. Not going so far as having snow, but temps being very off even with the real-time weather loaded.

Awwww, crap!

I can answer your question on atc text. When in the cockpit, hit alt, select options, settings, atc, then untick the box "show atc text". This will remove all text for atc. As for the weather, sometimes strange things happen, it's not an exact science yet. Hope this helps

Isn't that the same function that disables the see-thru screen which shows you what the ATC is saying to you and which gives you reply options?

you still have the see through window. if it doesn't appear, just tap the ` key and the window appears. tap it again to hide the window

Regarding the season, hit the alt key and change the season a bit...I've noticed that FS9 has a bit of trouble with the seasons.  After I changed the seasons, and changed it back to the proper one, the weather looked as it should...
