<G> That was before my time... Wink

I'm really amazed at that Corsair.  It's quite deetailed - for an alleged beginner.  Of course, the devil is in the details, and part of the overall process is PLANNING.

Alleged beginner?  I assure you Felix, I am as new as they come.  I'm just a fanatic about the plane and if I am going to do this, I am going to do it right.  I don't wish to insult anyone, but the F2G's out there are older models and just plane (no pun intended) not quite up to par.  I've played with Gmax for the last year, but never anything serious until now.

It's not so hard once you figure out everything is a tube that is stretched this way and that.  Most of my problems so far have been ones that seem to have been not covered very well in the tutorials.

There are still many questions I have.  The canopy is only visible from one side; I need to figure out how to do that, I know nothing about painting, virtual cockpits, or especially animations.  Everything so far has been manipulating one or two basic shapes.

The purpose of this plane is very simple and threefold.

1.  To test the waters of design and find out if it is something I want to do more of.

2.  To provide myself with a plane that no one else seems to have an interest in making.

3.  To give a little something back to Pete and SimV for all the years he has given me.

So while I don't have much experience, I make up for it with enthusiasm.  Smiley
