there might be a better souloution to this problem but i have one............re-install fs2004. you see flight plans have over lapped and now planes are taking off on the same routes at the same time. there are really good experts here at simv that can help.....

hope i shed some light on this problem

One other option is to go into your FS2004 folder open the scenery\world\scenery folder toward the bottom of the list you should spot several files with the letters API or TRAFFIC**** When you run TTOOLS it made a back up of the orignal files remove all of the new API files and the new TRAFFIC**** files keeping the back up files then re run ttools.
Or you can remove all of the traffic related files then restore the orig. TRAFFIC****.BGL file from disk one you will find the file you need in one of the game cab files. then rerun TTOOLS. 8)

garymbuska has identified the problem: multiple traffic_name.bgl files. it's not uncommon nor a big deal. simpy follow his instructions and it will be as before. good luck.
bill
p.s. some of us intentionally have several traffic_named.bgl files here there and everywher in FS9 but as long as they are not duplicates (as yours suggest) they are quite manageable
