Rumours go that the once mighty F-15C didn't perform well... with a 90% loss rate in simulated combat against Su-30MK (non-TVC one) and an updated MiG-21 variant

Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones), Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and An-24RV&&&&AI flightplans and repaints can be found here

Obviously done on purpose so as to justify early retirement of the F-15 and increased procurement of the F-22.

Pity they didn't convince the IAF to put the Su-30MKI in action... would have learned those F-15's a real lesson

I saw one once with a Spectre rocket motor mounted between those 2 engines. It was the loudest thing I've ever heard & my ears are still ringing. Grin
