Hey ppl.

This may seem like a lot but i need 8 repaints done for me because i can not do them, i don't have the software nor the know how to do it. What i would like done is the following:

1) Airbus A330 Repainted in the Air Canada Tango Livery
2) Airbus A330 Repainted in the Air Canada Jazz (yes the reigional carrier) Livery
3) Airbus A320 Repainted in the Air Canada Zip Full body Blue Livery
4) Boeing 737-200 in the CanJet Livery
5) Boeing 737-500 in the CanJet Livery
6) Boeing 737-200 in the WestJet Livery
7) Boeing 737-700 in the WestJet Livery (without winglets)
8) Boeing 737-700 in the WestJet Livery (with winglets)

OK OK so there are 8 to repaint. One person does not have to do them all. If there are any takers for any of the projects please let me know i can provide the photos of the liveries if required.

Thank you in advance to anyone willing to undertake any of these projects for me.

P.S you can reach me @ doucey_tcat_bandit_ac@hotmail.com

To get 'the software' you could try either Pixia:
http://park18.wakwak.com/~pixia/
or PhotoPlus 5.5.
http://www.freeserifsoftware.com/serif/ph/ph5/index.asp

have you tried doing it yet. i find that painting bigger planes is usually a good starting point as you do not need to do the fiddley parts. Grin
give it a go and keep us posted.
you can also find good repainting tutorials at:
www.calclassic.com  i think  ??? Roll Eyes

OK i have a program that will do it, now how do i acess the textures to modify them? DO i just make a copy of the aircraft's original textures and then paste them into the program and then put them back into the aricraft folder?

Winkfirst of all, copy the folder named texture and rename it. eg texture.*   (the * can be replaced with anything you like.) Now go into the aircraft.cfg file and copy everything under the [fltsim.0] heading should be at the top.
paste it below and alter it. change fltsim.0 to .1 at the end.
you will also need to change the 'title' and the 'ui_variation'
now save the .cfg file. 8)
**At this point you may want to go into the game and check to see if the new version of the plane is there. It should still bare the same livery though.**
if it is then well done, if not then simply try again  Grin Grin

you will then most likely need DXTBmp found here: http://fly.to/mwgfx
this converts the files so you are able to se them in your paint program.
once finished painting, convert them back into DXTBmp and save them as a DXT3 file.

hope you have some joy repainting

I have found the Westjet 737-700 with out winglets so there are still 7 planes that i would like to get. I have found some that are textures only but i don't know where to get the original aircraft to put them on.
