repaint orignal texture (Read 319 times)

how do you repant the orignal texture on an aircraft that you download. every time i try it just takes all the color away and leaves me with a compleetly white airplane ??? i have no idea what porgram to use or how to use it

How or what program do you use to repaint with.
If you want another texture for a airplane you can just add the texture you want with out having to do anything to the orignal texture.
A good example is look at the defaul B737 or B747 aircraft each aircraft has three different textures. 8)

It sounds like you are saving your repaints as 24 bits. If indeed this is the case you will need to use DXTBmp or Imagetool to compress the texture to 8 bit or 32 bit provided you aren’t doing any damage or reflective textures.
