I've been looking for B-52s for FS9, the older "Tall Tail" models like the B-52A through F. The G and H models from FS2000 and FS2002 don't work in FS9. Alphasim had a B-52C for FS98/2000, and I've seen a D-model also for CFS1, but I haven't been able to find one yet that will work in FS9. I would like to find an older B-52B like the ones that were used in the Operation Redwing Nuclear tests (natual silver with white anti-flash undersides). But any B-52 for FS9 would be great!

Have you tried Surclaro.com ?
They have quite a wide range of Military planes, including an EB-52i Megafortress
Thanx. Carl

Thanks Carl, but I have looked on Surclaro.com and I already have those B-52's for FS2002. Unfortunatly, those were built with FSDS and will not work in FS9. The model would have to be made with FSDS2 or Gmax to work in FS9. Building a B-52 is a big and complicated project and I expect it will be very difficult to find one for FS9. I'm going to keep looking. And when I do find one I'll make sure I post a hyperlink to its location. If I had the time to build it I would. Back when FS2000 was still new and the hottest FS, I bought FSDS and started a project. By the time I had spent enough time to figure FSDS out, FSDS was a thing of the past! I'm a pilot not an engineer!

Actually, to be fair they do (kind of) work in FS9, just some elements don't; biggest problem is usually 'missing' compressor fans - I use a lot of older FSDS models for AI, and they work perfectly adequately.

Back to the original post, if anyone knows of a B-52 for FS9 that was designed for FS9, or works well in FS9, or if anyone is currently building or planning to build a B-52A/B/C/D/E/F/G/H, let me know. Thanks.

I'm going to make a B-52SG Strato-guppy, for FS2k2/4, so I could probably adapt this into a B52 as well.

I just found out that Alpha Simulations is coming out with a B-52H for FS9 in about two months or so(payware). Below is a preview they emailed me:

To be honest, I haven't seen any B-52s come out in quite some time-none for FS9. That payware will likely be the only one available for FS9. I remember when the B-52 for FS2000/FS2002/CFS2 came out (more commonly known as "Bonzonie's BUFF"), it was a huge deal because it was so good and the only one to come out in a very long time. I remember that the designer was planning on doing a version of it in gMax but that idea went away when his real life needed all of his time (he was a friend of a lot of the older forum guys). Anyway, I think its the newest B-52 out there.

The above screenshots were emailed to me from Phil at Alpha Simulations when I inquired if they had any plans to build a B-52 for FS9. The tail code on the pictures above looks like the aircraft will represent Boeing-Wichita built B-52H-135-BW s/n 60-0010 of the 2nd Bomb Wing of the 8th Air Force at Barksdale AFB, La.
I'll let you know when Alpha Sim releases the B-52. Here's the last pic they sent me:
