At 70 years old this year the Bücker Jungmann is not quite so young as it used to be (like some of us here).
Despite this it can still give a good account for itself.
I was thinking of going to North Weald for the birthday celebrations today but facing Chris Rhea's "Road to Hell" (the car park they call the M25) in a thunderstorm put me off. Here's a couple of photos I've taken instead.
The last one was taken at Shoreham last week. It's a Spanish-built example. I missed the opportunity of some great shots when it arrived. A case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Once again Hagar, some fantastic shots. I passed on the Rolls Royce vintage fly-in at Hucknall yesterday because of the bad weather, but I wish I'd gone now as they had some interesting looking planes and the Spitfire was there all day too, although I did get some shots of it flying over my house

Man, you just can't find stuff like this in the US. All the airfields around here have are run of the mill Cessna's and Mooneys...
