Hello,

I'm an experienced player of Microsoft's commercial flight simulators.  I'm interested in buying CFS3, but I'm a bit of a realism freak.  I would like to know if there is an option to disable the radar display in the upper left hand corner?  Also, can you disable the targeting system?

Thanks for the help,

Yep, there are key commands to disable both.

Thank you Iroquois, this has made up my mind.  Do you think I'll be able to play CFS3 ok.  I have a 3.06 GHz machine with 768 MB DDR 333Mhz, an ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 64MB graphics card, and a 40 GB hard drive.

Thanks again,

You should be able to run CFS3 fine on that system. However, it's very tempremental and you might need to tweak somethings to get it running completely smooth. But don't worry too much. I run it on 700mhz, 256mb RAM and a gForce4 ti4200 and its fine provided the action doesn't get too thick. Remember that in CFS3 RAM is the key to good flying. And if you have any problems just ask here! Wink

If CFS3 wont run well on that system, I'll eat my hat. My lowly Duron 950mhz system runs it at 15fps.
