Even I find that slightly disturbing. I personally think that Ozzy and Andrew should be locked up and kept seperate from their computers.

I'd much rather NOT see it posted as a sticky. Doing so may encourage people to post garbage posts, just in an effort to boost their count. The result of this is a much slower site that is heavily bogged down by "Yeah me too" posts.

I think he only has 4055. When he hit the 4000 mark the other day, everyone started making a big deal out of it. So, we went into the system and added a 5 to the front of his total (he has that ability since he's a mod).

Wrong - being a mod doesn't give you the ability to "go into" the system. We can modify posts, move and/or delete them, but we can't alter the members' details

Just a little fun I'm having. Deep down, the *number* of posts doesn't mean a hill of beans. You can make a couple of posts and be memorable, or it's more a reflection of how comfortable one feels in these forums. My true count is 4080 (with this post).

You know, I once had a question by a forum member that had 14 posts. It had been driving me crazy, and this 'newbie' answered it off the bat. At that time, I had around 4500 posts...

You bet your bottom dollar it doesn't! I had a real tough question that someone with less than 10 posts answered! I forget who though
<EDIT>
Case and point: The almighty Gofer (Pete) has 2,412 posts right now! A lot less than many members have on these boards!
