Lisbon is the centre of attention for many football fans in the world right now - including myself (Sweden Bulgaria 5-0!)  Smiley

So why not make a chartered flight from Heathrow into Lisbon in the PMDG 737-800?

Here we are just north of the airport of Lisbon (LPPT). We are not too high, this is the downwind leg  Smiley...

View of the right wing+engine, the weather was lovely!
...

This is how the approach looks like
...

A great wingview shot, as we prepare for the baseleg turn
...

And yet another one,
...

Intercepting the localizer for runway 03
...

Final approach, configured for landing (autobrakes at 2, gear down and flaps 40, )
...

Landing in a 9 knots crosswind, gentle winds today Smiley
...

braking action  8)
...

A very scenic flight, with great landscape and setting, hope you enjoyed the pictures!
