Not exactly a Moth but look what showed up. The Jersey Airlines Heron.
When I heard it start up I had to break into a trot to get some of these shots.
A rare opportunity not to be missed.
He had to use the extended runway. The red fire engine is parked on the road crossing the runway to prevent vehicles crossing it at the wrong moment.
Not bad at all. He was airborne well before reaching it.
This is my best shot of the whole day.
