I went to the Moth Club charity meet at Old Warden yesterday. A very enjoyable day out in glorious weather. You can have a ride in a Moth for £55 with all the proceeds going to charity. The club members provide their aircraft & their time for free. Here's a few of the differnt types taking part. People were queuing up for a ride & they were kept busy all day. The atmosphere was like a busy training airfield in the 30s. Wonderful. Wink

I shall not comment, as it is unbecoming for a grown man to be seen drooling.

Thanks for your comments chaps. Sorry to disappoint but I didn't take the advantage of a ride this time. If I had you can be sure I would have posted pix. I'm not wealthy enough to afford a ride in them all. LOL Shocked

The Tiger Moth is my first love but I've had plenty of time on them & the queue was long all day. I almost weakened for old time's sake but it was far too hot for standing in line. I went with the intention of taking photos, not flying this time. If a Cirrus or Gipsy Moth had been there I might have been tempted. Wink
