Grin Hi, Try opening the plane folder (the one your trying to download) then drag the main folder of that to your aircraft folder (open) in FS2004. Seemed like that has worked for me. HUUM, seems like that was how it worked, at my age, memiroy and spelling went first, hehe.  Grin

That's not it.  The instructions are incorrect.  The author never created the aircraft/B732_cru folder.

Create a new folder called aircraft\B732_cru.  Drag and drop everything into there, then move the effects as the instructions indicate.

Here's a tute on installing aircraft manually.  http://www.simviation.com/acinstall.htm ; Just unzipping things into FS can have adverse results.

WinkHi gang, Sorry bout`the instuctions I gave, maybe I was dreaming of getting downloads, down? But let me ask this. I downloaded the RG to a temp file, ran a scan on it,  opened it, unziped the RG file, Ok, now I have two files, ziped and unziped, deleated the zip file, then opened the unziped RG file. Then took the main folder of the RG and moved it out of the way, then opened the files in 2004, then opened the aircraft files in 2004, then brought the RG file over to the Cessna aircraft area and let it go. Bingo, I have a new Cessna RG file, opened the new RG file, things seemed to all be there??? Opened the game and the RG was there in the Cessna stuff. Have I slip a tooth, or could this have been the mistake of a computer handie-cap person. My wife had been doing the downloads with mix results but "Honey, lets try this one", was pushing my luck with her good heart and all. I`ll go try it again and report back my poor excuse, then sit on my hands and read the instuctions again. What kind of computer did all this, a HP pavilion (1703) with 2,500 bucks worth of upgades?? plus MO`money for this and that, but I did stay at a Hollday Inn last night?? 8) Stay safe, Ray

I don't think we're talking about the same file here.  davidharris got a file with imroper installation instructions.

If you read the tute you will see that each aircraft needs its own folder unless it's a repaint of an existing aircraft.

In davidharris case he should something like C:/program files/microsoft games/fs9/aircraft./B732_VSP/...

Your new RG should probably be in a new folder fs9/aircraft/RG (or whatever you want to call it, the name isn't really important).  But you can't dump into one of the   4 existing Cessna folders.

If it's a repaint that's a different matter.  Most downloads will tell you if they are repaints.

Grin Hi Webb,  Just downloaded the twin B from new aircraft 2004 or the new stuff in there? However when I unziped the file there where two files for the twin B stuff. So, I opened the second file and looked at it,  then hit back to both files and opened the 50mg or first file, looked at it, then the back to both files. I pulled the big file off to the side, then to my desk top start to 2004 FS and propities (sp) (sorry) then target and aircraft opened then brought/draged the twin B to in between a couple of beechcraft files and lifted my finger onleft click, Bingo, new twin B file in the beechcraft files. Opened the game, Cessna always comes up in defalt in my game on open, then to beechcraft aircraft and the twin B was there in the drop-down aircraft. So click on it, and it came up but the lingo on the left was in french I think, so my defalt airport is Seattle so hit "fly now" OK, on the active at Seattle, panel looks OK, a pan around the aircraft, it looks OK, Back to the panel view, So lets see if it wiil fly, skip all the garbage, power where rolling, back pressure about 65 kts, airborn about 50 ft, pull the power, flare, back on the runway, turn around, first exit clear of active, pull the mix, left/right, pan around, everything looks fine. Hey, Webb Looks, smells, flys like a twin B, don`t know about the last file, maybe its an add-on to something about the aircraft, but the rest seem to work OK. HEY, thanks for the re-ply, see ya`at Seattle or better yet Red Bluff,Ca. causn`the coffee always hot at FSS there.  Stay safe, Ray
