???

I dunno, I LOVE CFS3, but don't the AI do some funny things sometimes?

Just now, I was in a QC intercept, my Tempest vs. 4 110s.

I closed in from behind and below on one, got about 100 yards away and really hosed him.

The 110 blew apart and I flew through the wreckage as it rained down to earth, but then....what's this?

Someone is shooting at me! Impacts on my 'plane!

Looking behind me, there is gunfire coming from the bits of 110!

This despite the fact that the crew are in their 'chutes floating to the ground!

Strange or what?

PS. Before anyone asks there were no other aircraft around, it was DEFINITELY the trashed 110!

Yep, CFS3 is famous for it's shooting dead gunners.
Infact, if you attack bombers, the most dangerous moment is when you have shot one down and you try to pass by the wreckage.

Another wierd thing about CFS3 is in the campaigns, it randomly puts in fighters from the enemy nation's list. I was bombing an airbase so what does Germany send up to attack me? Fokker Eindeckers.  Grin Lets just say the Eindecker is no match for a Tempest.

Another problem is the AI cheats sometimes. You'll pump an AI airplane full of bullets and it won't go down. They fire one small  burst off at you and your done for. I find it doesn't matter what plane it is.

I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday. I recall reading somewhere the 'immortal ' gunners are caused by the no-CD patch(??) Dummo if that's right though.

Definitely not the no CD patch as it happens since the first Beta.
It has been bugged but got never fixed.
