Make sure you're using the correct key for reverse thrusters.  Sometimes we re-map things without even noticing.

On a defult settings, if you hold down F2 it reduces the throttle to idle then goes to reverse thrust.

*sigh* In my day we didnt have any of those fancy shmancy button-borads. I still remember getting the ol' paperclip out and punching in those 1's and 0's all night long.
Those were the days.

Welcome to the board.  Grin

I'd suggest a simple 101 button board. Those fancy internet keyboards are often more trouble than they are worth. There isn't much you can do with them that you can't do with a simple keboard. It's just a tiny bit more effort but not enough to kill you. Also many of the fancy keyboards run a driver on your system that eats system resources and tends to be unstable causing problems and conflicts with other programs.

Or even better yet get a good joystick that allows you to map functions like reverse thrust to a joystick button. If you can afford it that's the best way to go. I've never regretted getting a Saitek X-45. I have my reverse thrust mapped to a button on the throttle.

very simple 8)
make sure that when you land, reduce the throttle fully at idle position and then press and hold F2. it will solve your problem. Grin
